I have worn these boots every day for over three years. I am a firefighter and also have worn them while working on a ranch. At this point the only thing is the mesh behind and slightly above the heel on one has torn. This doesn’t affect how they feel, I just notice it when I take them on and off. They get five stars because I have put these boots through pure hell... crossing creeks, firefighting brush fires, and even done some hiking in them in addition to every day stuff. I am impressed and constantly hear other people complaining about how their feet hurt when mine don’t because I’m wearing these. They also offer a decent amount of buffering if you are hit by a taser but that is another story and I don’t recommend trying it.
