Well made and practical. My usual size 38 was too big so I kept those and ordered a 36. They fit correctly. Wore them 2 weeks straight in Greece, no problems. Velcro pockets were secure and easier to use than buttons. Perfect for travel and now around the house and town. Very happy.These shorts fit well, have nice material and lots of pockets. And they look good.The cargo short fits me well. My friend and family like it.I bought these for my hubby and they fit him very well. At work, he moves a lot so he enjoyed them for the comfort. His work is sweaty, so I enjoy the durability of them after washes. Worthy purchase.Great pants for working in the elements! Fit great, warm and comfortable. They held up well throughmy first winter with them and I plan on wearing them again this coming season.There is really a lot to like about these shorts. I live in Florida, and I like the lighter weight fabrics. The drawback is that most of those don't wear very well. Only time will tell how well these will wear, but they seem very sturdy for lighter weight shorts. The fabric has a nice design to it that makes it seem a little more upscale. I haven't washed them yet, but they do seem very wrinkle resistant.Workmanship is first class. The stitching is excellent, even in the places where it doesn't show. The dark fabric around the belt loops and inside the waist band is a nice touch. The inside pockets are white cotton, which are sometimes a cheap way to save money with lightweight fabric. I'm happy to say that these pockets feel as heavy as the rest of the material. They are supposed to be UV resistant, but I don't have any way to measure that.One thing that threw me was the sizing. The size chart says that a size 36 is 39 inches, and I have never seen something like that before. I normally wear a size 36, so that is what size I ordered. It turns out that the size chart was more accurate than I thought. The size 36 is about 2 inches too big for me. I am glad I erred on the side of caution, because I can wear it with a belt and it works okay. If not for the size mistake, I would have rated these 5 stars. They really are nice. They are made in China, so be aware if you feel strongly about where they come from.I got these shorts for my husband. He loves cargo shorts, as he love pockets! He will not wear shorts without all kinds of pockets, and he noted happily how many pockets these have, including his favorite kind, side Velcro pockets! The material is great too---a light but strong kind of fabric.However, these do run a bit big. My husband was happy with that at first---he thought all his recent working out had made him small for a size 36, which has never happened to him! But actually, checking the size chart, these 36s have a 39 inch waist. I thought they might have room built in to shrink, but when I washed them, there was no shrinking---which is usually a good thing! My husband can wear these if he wears a belt, and he is wearing them a lot, because they are such nice shorts. But do check the size chart carefully!Although it doesn't say on the product listing, I believe that the company that makes these cargo shorts is in China. A lot of companies that sell clothes on Amazon are in China or other Asian countries. I have discovered that when ordering clothes from many of these companies, the size will run a little smaller than what we expect here in the US. So I took a chance and ordered a size 36 for these shorts, although my normal size is 34. I figured it would be better if the shorts were a little loose instead of too tight. Fortunately I was right. The shorts ended up fitting me perfectly. If I had ordered a 34, they would have definitely been too tight. So keep that in mind if you plan to order these. Otherwise they are nice cargo shorts. They are comfortable and have all of the pockets that I need for the things I usually carry with me.
